 New Project of Mataji Ni Gadi & Rajbhog Kitchen

At the cost of about Rs.34.77 lakhs, Shri. Arasuri Ambaji Devasthan Trust is now going  to renovate the above shown holy place of Mataji ni Gadi, with a big hall, containing the old place of Gadi of Mataji and the holy water for the bath of the Mataji in Nij Mandir and the Prasadi Centre of the priest Bhattaji. Again Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust is also going to construct a two storied staff rooms and residences for the temple priests and also to replace the present above shown prasad gruh, with a big Rajbhog Kitchen, away from Nij Mandir below Chachar Chowk.

Shri. Ambaji Development Committee of Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust of Ambaji was founded in 1972 & it had recommended to renovate the total Ambaji temple complex. Therefore in the year 1975, on the basis of  various recommendations of Shri. Ambaji Development Committee, the temple trust has initiated the long lasting giant works of a total renovation of the temple complex, which has been scheduled to be concluded in three parts, phases and period of time.
    In the beginning during the period of 1975 to 2004, from the first phase of this project, Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust has constructed and renovated in the inner parts of the Main Temple Nij Mandir, replacing the old structures, floors, domes and ceilings totally with the beautiful piece of marble and wonderful piece of carvings as per the Shashtras and religious rituals, keeping the Old Gokh and Visa Chakra intact. In the second phase of the renovation project, the whole temple work is completed.
      At present in the last phase of renovation project, the outer parts of the Temple Complex and its surroundings, mainly the Havan Shala, Mataji Ni Gadi, Bhojan Shala in chachar chowk area are under construction and renovation at the cost of about Rs.1 crores. It is decided that every inch of this place is going to be replaced with marbles in a quite artistic marvelous architectural designing.

Shri. Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust has proposed to get declared the whole area of about 10 sq. meter around the city Ambaji as a Development Zone, in order to facilitate the flow of increasing tourists coming to Ambaji everyday. The Trust intends to develop a big road of 700 meters from Trivedi Circle to Shakti Chowk at the cost of Rs.157 lakhs in first phase, another roads from college to Trivedi Circle and from Kailash Tekari to Trivedi Circle at about 2 kilometers in leangth at the cost of Rs.237 lakhs in 2nd phase, in order to Develop these Darshan Paths with all essential public facilities, and infrastructural networks of railing, street lights, dust bins, landscape plantations, Benches, Foot Path etc.

Entrance Gates of Ambaji

Shri. Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust has also planed to construct three Giant Entrance Gates carved from marbles, on each entry points to city of Ambaji from each three highway roads, such as one on Himmatnager Highway, second on Data Highway and third on Abu Road Highway at the cost of about Rs.219 lakhs with the Ambaji Map and other information sign boards and garden surroundings for the facility of the tourists.

Ambaji Heritage Cottages Project
On the way to Holly Gabber Hill, within an area of about 10 acres of lands, bearing S.No.2 on a hill side area, near the temple complex, The Trust has now decided to develop a beautiful site of Ambaji Heritage Centre along with a wonderful architectural construction works in marble, providing 60 super Deluxe deluxe and semi deluxe rooms,  garden, swimming pool, restaurant, Tennis as well as Badminton Courts, Cafe, Change Rooms, Path Ways, Meditation Cottage, Parking, Sun Bath Area, Amusement Park, Water and Drainage Systems, entrance, compound wall and many more amenities and tourist facilities, just at the  cost of  Rs.517.5 lakhs at present.

New Project of Total Renovation of Old Cottage Hospital Building

The Ambaji Shaktipathi is located within Danta taluka tribal belt. Since last forty years Shree Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust, Ambaji has provided medical facility to more than eighty-five thousand patients in this tribal area. The present Cottage Hospital is approximately 45 to 50 years old. The steel is corroded and roofs are ruined. In rains there is leakage from roofs. It is due to this reason it is proposed to demolish the old Cottage Hospital and make new Hospital with better facility for patients. Patients from Gujarat and Rajasthan come to Cottage Hospital from around appropriately 6000 sq. Km far and wide. From day to day increasing population of patients and the conditions prevailing at old Hospital it is planned to shift to new location for New Hospital with modern equipments in the interest of increasing number of patients. It is now proposed that the New Hospital of Ambaji will have 200 beds;12 special rooms; 10 semi-AC rooms; 6 OPDs; 10 visiting Doctors’ Room; emergency unit; ICUs; CCU Units; different wards like orthopedic, ophthalmic, gynec, septic, surgical , burns , endoscope , T.B. etc .Cafeteria , clock room , rest rooms , toilets , medical stores , laundry , electric yard , D.G.Set , Gas supply , Oxygen and Blood Banks . This New Hospital building will cost approximately Rs: 6.39 crore, as a whole, in order to provide latest, effective and instant medical services to all the tourists, pilgrims and all other people of Ambaji as well as to the poor people of tribal area in surroundings.

Ambaji Gabbar Pradakshina Path
The path which circles Gabbar Hill will have width of 15 feet and 2.5 Km in length is proposed which will attract pilgrims in large numbers. This Gabbar circling path will have facilities for pilgrims such as sitting arrangements, snacks counter, drinking water, small spots to store water, hanging swings, bridge and developing view points which looks to beautiful landscape. Moreover, at definite interval different installation of 51 temples of 51 Shaktipiths with details about their locations and significance is proposed. The Government of Gujarat has sanctioned Rs: 3.21 crore in the letter of Government – Ref: PVS-112006-191-Y , dated 21 – 02 – 2006

The circling path of Gabbar Hill which will consist 51 decorated umbrellas for 51 Shakthpith Temples. Marble slab bed for Idols with marble Idols. The stand and description marble plate for all 51 the Shaktipith.

15 feet wide well designed concrete block pathway. Resting places, drinking water storage, toilets, sitting arrangements, water pipeline and sump wells .

Sunset Point, Watch Tower and amusement park.

Small streams and lakes for water storage.

The renovation of Hanuman temple near entrance Gate.

Hanging bridge and swings, garden with flowers and green plants, the road joining to the steps and circling path of Gabbar Hill.

Security point, Guffa development, the entrance and exit Gate of Pradakshina Marg of Gabbar Hill will be made from Bansi Pahanpur stone.
